Standing in place working through a prearranged drill can look pretty good to the uninitiated. The real test is to be able to move and strike utilizing range, timing, and tactics. Here you see a few clips of PTK-SMF Rhode Island students training Espada y Daga off of the 5 Attacks subsystem utilizing range, bridging tactics, and timing with broken and fluid striking. If you look close you will also see counter-attacks to the knife hand within the flow.
