I came across a channel called “The CrafsMan SteadCraftin” here on YouTube when I was looking for information on making a silicon putty mould and in the process came across the following video of his as well. [ Ссылка ]. I was super skeptical that his method of applying a resist using a heat gun would work, I mean I am doing everything according to the recommended instructional methods I have thus far come across and they produce mediocre results and certainly with the laser glossy photo paper which were very hard (and frustrating) to get the toner to adhere. A heat gun is THE BEST method and I find that by heating the silver for 2 minutes makes it hot enough to bond the toner to it as tenaciously as a rat terrier to a rat. Be sure to check out Crafsman’s channel, he has an extremely useful library of crafting techniques that translate into jewelry making! Thank you Crafsman for taking the pain out of applying laser toner resists!
