This ride was to check whether the latest work had stopped a number of oil leaks, as well as an issue with the rear wheel having been put right. It wasn't long before it dawned on me that I had forgotten to reconnect the alternator wires, but the bonus was realizing the alternator definitely charges ok and the battery must be pretty good. The headlamp appears dim, but was actually aimed low, however, I could see where I was going and knew I could be seen, so not a problem for this ride, and the oil leaks are gone!
