I broke my antenna off the other day, I got stuck in the bushes…

Replacing the antenna including the cable is possible without removing the whole dashboard, only the drivers headlight and the cockpit needs to be removed. Unplug the antenna cable on your radio and attach a string to the plug. Now you can remove the antenna and gently pull the cable out to the front.

With the help of the string you can pull the new cable back and mount the new antenna.

Needed tools:
Screw-driver for the radiator cover and the headlight
Wrench for the antenna case
Maybe some tool to remove your radio

Needed material:
New antenna, zB ORIGINAL HIRSCHMANN 411 412
