Hey guys, omg I have been gathering myself to tell y'all this story! Giving birth to my son was sooooooooooooooo traumatic, I had to deliver him 6 weeks early due to severe preeclampsia, it was CRAZY!
Anyway y'all grab your drinks and your snacks cuz this is a long long long long story.
Please if you're willing I would love to hear your birth stories, I never knew how intense having a baby was till I was in that position... and I didn't know what some of my own friends and family members have been through to deliver their babies.
Especially being a woman of color things already feel "different" for us and sometimes the very health care providers we trust don't even acknowledge or protect us as they should. I am sharing my story so that anyone who feels they're alone in whatever they're going through just know that there are people out there for you.
