The 'Chelsea Chop' is a technique that Gardeners have been using for many years. The name 'Chelsea Chop' helps to remind us when is a good time to prune back fast growing and flowering herbaceous plants. By cutting plants back in late May, when the RHS Chelsea Flower show takes place in the UK, we can delay flowering of some plants and encourage other plants to grow into more attractive and manageable shapes. In this video I guide you through the steps involved in giving your plants the 'Chelsea Chop' and share how it can be used in a tropical style of garden.
