Tony Yayo discussed the release of King Tut, who was recently released after spending 27 years in prison. Tut, implicated in the infamous 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur, was sentenced to five life terms for a series of violent robberies. Amongst the first to be sentenced under the Eastern District of New York's stringent three-strikes law, his incarceration was deemed excessively harsh by the presiding judge. Over time, shifts in sentencing practices led to a reconsideration of his penalty.
