This time a short breakdown on Ura Mawashi Geri, or reverse roundhouse kick, sometimes called the "hook kick".

This technique is a bit underrated, not only is it the prerequisite for Ushiro Mawashi Geri, it is also a pretty effective kick on its own once you learn how to hide it, and set it up.

This variation shown is a Kyokushin Karate technique but it works well well in other contexts like MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Point-Karate etc.
