Using the Tyre Pressure Monitor | MINI How-To
Learn in this video that with the Tyre Pressure Monitor in your MINI, you can check the tyre pressure while driving. Go to: "My MINI", "Vehicle Status", "Tyre Pressure Monitor". The tyre pressure is measured only while driving and shows the current pressure for each tyre. Look up the recommended tyre pressure on the label on the driver’s side B-pillar. Be aware that the pressure is affected by the tyre temperature which rises during your journey. That’s why the pressure specs on the label do not apply to warm tyres. Keep it up! Correct tyre pressure leads to more efficient driving with less energy or fuel consumption. Make sure to go in the same “Vehicle Status” menu to “Tyre settings” and “Reset” the tyre pressure monitor after a wheel change. You guessed it. The monitor will reset only during driving. Safety first! In case of tyre pressure loss, a message informs you in the Control Display. If there is severe tyre pressure loss, let’s say due to a tyre damage, a yellow warning symbol is shown in the check control message with all available information about the affected tyre.
