Before our detective opened the letter of a mysterious kid called Ethan Carter, detective Paul Prospero knew this case wasn't going to be eazy.
He believes the kid is in great danger, so he immediatly sets up on a journey to Red Creek Valley. Arrived at destination he sees that the case is worser than he at first believed it to be. A murder case, Ethan has disappeared and dark powers reign over the valley, will he survive?
