Lactose is the sugar that's in milk. Determination of lactose percent is a very common and important test parameter for milk and milk products. There are many established methods for the determination of lactose using HPLC, GC, Colorimeter etc. But these methods are very cost effective. Thus, we have developed a titrimetric method for this test parameter. This video represents a detailed procedure for the determination of total lactose content of a sample by titration of Lane-Eynon Method.
