Just a quick little video I made for those that wanted to bypass some of the questing and instead do some crafting to gain levels.

Basically this way is about as simple as it gets. Wait for full labor then mine with a Vocation Tonic on. Wait for full labor and craft Hereafter stones.

In my experience today the mining got me 1.5 levels alone. Adding in the fact that I will be able to craft about 72 hereafter stones. Im estimating about 5 total level in about 2-3 hours depending on how long it takes to craft.
