Reviewing the @GetGoodDrums Studio Cabs Cali Oversized with some of the amp sims I don't use often, in a more modern metal/djent setting.

The idea of using these amp sims with the GGD Studio Cabs Cali Oversized Edition came from looking at my amp sim collection recently to delete the ones I don't need or use anymore, especially the old, free ones such as the LePou plugins and Emissary by Ignite Amps. But then I thought, now that I have the GGD Studio Cabs Cali Oversized Edition, maybe they will prove useful. And I think they did. What do you think?

I think the main idea here is that if you have a great cab sound, amp matters less. Even with stuff like the LePou plugins which are pretty old by this point. But also using something like the Joey Sturgis Tones Toneforge Misha Mansoor can still make a difference.

I didn't include my main amp sim which is the Neural DSP Fortin Cali, because I really like the way it sounds with its own IRs. I tried the GGD plugin with it and it does sound good, but I am not sure if I would choose it over Fortin Cali's own IRs. It is good to have it as a color for sure though. At the end of the day, I am super happy to have purchased this product.
