On 1 September 2024, SMRT Buses has successfully taken over Boon Lay Bus Interchange as part of their Jurong West Bus Package in which Soon Lee Bus Depot is part of.

On 15 September 2024, SMRT Buses will be operating all bus services will be transferred from SBS Transit to SMRT Buses.
