Part 1 of my day out aboard the paddle steamer "Waverley" on 14th September 2024, which was the 'Steam Round the Isle of Wight' cruise.

This video focuses on the first leg of the journey across the Solent from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier.

However originally, the journey to the Isle of Wight was meant to go to Yarmouth. But for some unknown reason, Yarmouth Pier was unavailable; so, the "Waverley" had to go to Ryde Pier instead.

NOTE:
* "HMS Warrior" and "Steam Pinnace 199" both make cameos in Portsmouth Harbour in this video.
