Dr. Fountas mentioned that the increase of the population leads to an increase in agricultural production, but it also leads to the use of land for the production of goods other than food. He also presented the new technologies and the robotic solutions which can be used from farmers, and spoke about the implementation of cartography and of precision agriculture, as well as the use of geodata, in Greece.
