Here is a quick and easy demonstration video on how to replace the dead / weak 2032 battery in your Vauxhall key. The first step is to take a flat tip screwdriver and insert in into the notch on the back. Press in firmly and give it a gentle twist. That will release the physical key portion. Then take the same screwdriver and put it horizontally between the two halves and pry them apart. Then you will have access to your dead 2032 battery. You will need to make sure you pretty directly in under the battery. DO NOT TWIST. Twisting could cause the solder joints to break. Insert the new battery + side facing upward. Clip the two halves back together and put the physical key back on. That is all you need to do! No need to reprogram! Hope you found the video helpful! Take care.
