Kerala Easy Sambar :
Ingredients:
Sambar dal /thuvara parip - 1/3 cup
Shallots - 5 no’s
Salt as needed
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cut all vegetables into small pieces and washed it .here I take vegetables such as
Potato 🥔 - 2 no’s (small if you have big size take one )
Pumpkin - (mathanga ) - 1 small piece
Vellarikka - 1 small piece
Tomato -1
Snake gourd -(padavalanga) -1 small piece
Drumstick ( muringakka) -1
Greenchilli -2 no’s
Carrots - 1
Coconut oil -2 tbsp
Tamarind juice -2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fresh curry leaves
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder -1 tsp
Asafoetida powder -1 tsp
AVIYAL :
Vegetables
Coconut grated - 3 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Fresh curry leaves
Shallots - 3 no’s
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Cabbage Thoran :
Cabbage - 1 cup
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Onion slices - 2 tbsp
Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Fresh curry leaves
KOOTUCURRY :
Payar - 1/2 cup
Potato - 1 big
Pumpkin- 1 small piece
Chena - 1 small piece
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Coriander powder -2 tsp
Garam masla -2 tsp
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Shallots -5 no’s
Fresh curry leaves
Pachadi (for 2 pachadi ingredients are same only differences in required vegetable )
Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chilli - 1 no’s
Fresh curry leaves
VELLARIKKA ( small piece ) for VELLARIKKA pachadi
small piece Beetroot ( for beetroot pachadi blend in mixer )
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
