While visiting Lake Placid this summer, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel for a night. There are many options for accommodation in this picturesque lake country in upstate New York and I'd thought I'd share my thoughts on this one. Just remember to pack a light jacket as it can get pretty cool at night, even in August.

My story so far........
Bouncing around North America and Asia, I've never lived anywhere too long. I found my calling as a teacher and ended up staying in Korea and China for many years. While I've had the chance to explore Europe, places I consider home are Washington DC, Seoul, Beijing, Memphis, and Columbus. After 20 years of exploring, I'm ready to share my adventures and wanderlust. The road ahead is never a straight line, but a path that zigs and zags, leading you to amazing places, people, and experiences you could never imagine.
