The United States has placed a Patriot missile battery in Poland - much to Russia's dismay. Residents living near the site in the town of Morag in northern Poland are now eagerly learning English. The United States plans to station up to 150 soldiers in Morag over the next two years to teach Polish military personnel how to handle the missiles. The plan has prompted serious objections from Russia: Morag is just 60 kilometers from the border of the Russian enclave Kaliningrad. Morag's 25,000 residents are feeling the political attention - but many welcome the American presence.
