Surface unmanned vessels On September 18, Ranger and Mariner arrived at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, becoming the first Navy USVs to visit Japan.
The Unmanned Surface Vessel Division 1 vessels have been participating in the Integrated Battle Problem 23.2 exercise, which intends to test and enhance concepts and capabilities for medium and large USVs in the Indo-Pacific. The drill is the first to use USVs in the area of operations of the US 7th Fleet.
