Sea Turtle Love was filmed with the GoPro 7 in 4k 60fps while snorkeling in the Maldives. I used the GoPro 7 for underwater footage in 4K 60fps and the GoPro 6 on the GoPro Karma drone in 2.7K 60fps (upscaled). This 4K 60fps GoPro video shows you a fantastic encounter with a hawksbill sea turtle ("Carla" - ID1167 by marinesavers.com) while snorkeling at the Ellaidhoo house reef (Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon Resort). Snorkeling with turtles is each time a very special experience and it was for sure one of the best encounters we ever had...
With this video I tried to represent the emerging emotions of such an encounter in picture and sound. The video is cut to the music and in this case I don't mean the beat...many movements of the turtle and other "actors" are matching to the sound. Headphones will bring you the full experience because it's a very calm song.
