Bangladesh: Anti-Job Quota Protesters Set Jail Ablaze | Susbcribe to Firstpost
The protesters in central Bangladesh stormed Narsingdi jail on July 19. According to police, the protesters torched the jail and freed hundreds of inmates. The violent protests against the quota system in government jobs have killed at least 115 people. At least 300 officers also sustained injuries during the unrest.
