It’s a showdown between the EWRS-SNOW skid steer snow tire series by Evolution Wheel and a standard pneumatic skid steer tire! We put our skid steer snow tire through the paces with three tests on a hockey rink to demonstrate its performance on slippery, icy surfaces. First, we tested the EWRS-SNOW skid steer snow tires' traction during acceleration and deceleration to measure the stopping distance compared to a standard pneumatic skid steer tire. Next, we tested the traction on the skid steer snow tires by driving through a U-shaped pylon course. Our final test challenged the traction and control of both tires through a slalom course.
