Hey! Thanks for checking out my Watch restoration channel. I’m just a guy having a good time learning the art of watchmaking and giving some timepieces a second life. This one was a ton of fun and it’s going to a great home. Thanks to everyone watching while winding down your day, eating your lunch, falling asleep to my videos, or wherever you fit them into your day. I really appreciate the support and I hope you enjoy them!
-Note at the time of recording I found a source stating the date code was 1949, however after doing a deeper dive I discovered multiple sources stating it was a 1943 model. The “X” as well as the “D” in the serial number indicate 1943. Super cool knowing the year of production!
