(13 May 2018) Thousands of Pashtuns from Pakistan's tribes gathered in the southern city of Karachi on Sunday, reiterating their call for the release of tribesmen, which they claim are being held by authorities over alleged links to militants.
The rally was organized by the Pashtun Protection Movement, a group which has been demanding legal and judicial reforms to prevent what they say are enforced abduction of Pashtun tribespeople.
The crowd, holding portraits of their missing loved ones, chanted slogans against the security forces.
The group has protested since January after the extrajudicial killing of a young aspiring model from the tribes in Karachi.
