It is now illegal in one British town to make the sign of the Cross or quote scripture near the local abortion clinic. The clinic sits in the resort town of Bournemouth, England. It will now be surrounded by a so-called "buffer zone" that covers 6 streets. For 12 hours each weekday, no one is allowed to protest, harass, or even use Holy Water in the zone. Editor-in-chief of CNA Deutsch, AC Wimmer, joins to tell us more about that. He explains what prompted this ruling. Wimmer reports that area pro-life groups were not just concerned about abortions in the facility. He discusses what else disturbed them about the clinic. The editor-in-chief shares whether there have been any challenges to the legality of this ruling and whether there has been any word from the local bishop. In France, there are 150 randomly selected citizens who will help decide whether or not the country should legalize assisted suicide. Wimmer fills us in on what he knows about this.
