In today's quick video I demonstrate if virtual pinballs have flipper lag. I have a virtual pinball machine 4k as well as a real pinball machine. I shot this video in 60fps so I was able to slow the footage down 25% in slow motion to see if there is a delay.
After reviewing the slow motion footage, I was able to notice a slight delay in flipper speeds between the real pinball and the virtual pinball. However, I have logged about 15 hours of playtime so far on my new virtual pinball machine and have to say I honestly cannot tell the difference in realism or performance when playing in real time.
