Russian President Vladimir Putin Vows More Destruction In Ukraine Following Massive Drone Attack
Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed more destruction in Ukraine on December 22, after the country accused Kyiv of launching a massive drone attack on residential buildings and an industrial facility in Kazan city. Putin stated that Ukraine would regret its actions in Russia. He also discussed the conflict in Ukraine with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico at kremlin. However, Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attack. Russia also claimed fresh advances on the battlefield in Eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated his appeal for Ukraine to join NATO in order to strengthen the country, stressing that membership was possible. US President-elect Donald Trump also said he would end the conflict in Ukraine and mentioned that Putin has expressed plans to hold a meeting regarding the war.
