History has been made as a legitimate batch of articulated buses are running in Queens on the Q44. Queens finally joins Manhattan and The Bronx by having a set of articulated buses running in the borough, in NovaBus LFS Articulated form!

31-41 of these buses are due to arrive at Casey Stengel Depot to run on the Q44, word has it that they may show up on the Q12 but there has not been any confirmation about that as of yet. These buses are due to retire the 600 series Orion Vs, where some are still running strong while others are on their last legs.

Seen here is a clip of NovaBus LFS Articulated 5903 operating exclusively on the Q44 to The Bronx Zoo. These buses will be taking over the Q44 in Queens for the most part.
