In the construction of steel buildings, a large part of the assemblies may need to be processed on automatic welding robots, while a part needs to be processed on manual welding stations, depending on different parameters.


Our integration between the CAD world, Steel Project PLM production management software and the Cortex software for welding robot programming, makes it possible to automatically prepare and launch production, including programming both CNC machines and welding robots, but also route pieces automatically and intelligently throughout the workshop, thus facilitating the production preparation and programming.


Indeed, our ability to integrate several working stations with automatic handling allows seamless distribution of materials to all stations, minimizing the use of overhead cranes and manual picking of parts.

The robotic handling of our machines also allows the automatic sorting of all secondary parts belonging to an assembly. Steel Projects PLM allows to generate the distribution missions of the secondary parts to the main members in an automatic and controlled manner, with the advantage of monitoring timing, advancements of projects, bottlenecks, and quality, in order to be as precise as possible in maximizing the production capacity.
