Many of the injuries that happen in pickleball are related to improper footwear. Meniscus tears, calf strains, and Achilles tendon injuries are among the most common pickleball injuries caused by improper footwear. Tennis elbow is a common injury caused by playing too much or using a paddle that is too heavy. Shoulder injuries often occur from improper form or using movements that are too large.
