par. 2 (The whole par. describes the deception of idols - "and idol is a wish"...
When we choose for the ego, our wish was to replace God!. We think idols for fix us, fill us up, and supply our lacks but instead, they keep us from within in the quiet and piece. Seek but do not find.
par 3 "An idol is a false impression, or a false belief some form of anti-Christ, that constitutes a gap between the Christ and what you see." Jesus is so specific..... choosing against God..... is the Anti-Christ. All forms!)
"An idol is a wish, made tangible and given form..." (Think of the wish as the choice for separation which would be the film in front of the light projected on the screen which we call life. It appears real but it is simple a projection of the thought in the mind - that is not real)
"All forms of anti-Christ oppose the Christ" (Always one or the other and nothing of the anti-Christ can affect what truth is)
par 4 "This world of idols is a veil across the face of Christ....." (All idols!
par.5 "What is an idol? Nothing! (Jesus keeps repeating to us... this whole world, all of our projections are nothing.) "It must be believed before it seems to come to life, and given power that it may be feared" (It is the belief that makes it real to us. The belief is where the problem begins. - How do I know what belief is engaged? By looking at the projection in the world.)
