When you need new shocks but you don’t know which shocks will fit your vehicle, you must do some measuring.
First, make sure the car is completed, sitting on the tires it will ride on, and sitting at curb weight.
Then, get to measuring. We need the length of the shock and how it’s mounted.
1.) Measure the length of the shock as a straight line between the mounting points, like we show in the video.
2.) Each end of the shock could mount in one of three ways: with a stud, an eye, or a T-bar.
