This time it's all about your running technique for the uphill. With the right technique you can move efficiently, save your energy, and have more fun on the trails.
Novices often have the biggest respect for the uphills. Your heart rate goes up, your breathing becomes faster and your legs get heavier. At some point on or after the uphill, you will ask yourself ”When will I ever be able to run this?!” Lukas shows you how you can find more oomph on uphills with smaller steps on your forefoot, arm swings, and body positioning. Fun fact: even pros don’t run the really steep sections!
