Paul Knox-Johnston shares his experience racing round the island on the 3rd July 2021 in the Round The Island Race. Haven K-J Scotch Mist completed the course in 8 hours 50 mins. With a relatively calm start, building winds down to the Needles, pouring rain to St Catherine's Point, a Spinnaker run to Bembridge and a hard beat back to the line, the race packed everything in.
