iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max customers now have the choice of two capture methods with Canvas: Pocket 3D Room Scanner version 0.7: 360 spin, which is great for small, rectangular rooms. And the new walkthrough mode, which lets you scan larger and more complex spaces.
Now you can walk through the space, staying within 3 to 12 feet from the walls. You’ll move your phone up and down, as if you were painting the walls, and the white overlay will show you what you’ve captured.
When you’re done, revisit the space virtually.
And use Canvas’s Scan To CAD service to receive a design-ready CAD file of the space.
