Footage has been shared of Syria’s Christian community in Aleppo’s Suleymaniye district reacting to the rebels’ takeover of the city from government forces.
Despite concerns for the safety of Syria’s religious minorities, locals report continuing their preparations for Christmas as usual, commenting that the initial curfew set by the rebels has since been lifted to allow them to buy food and they are looking forward to the holidays.
