Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announces a weekend curfew in the national capital. He reasons this curb with the fact that the unprecedented covid surge is alarming and people on weekends usually get out for insignificant and regular activities which can be curtailed for the moment to break the chain. As per reports, the Delhi government has reported no shortage of beds and a vacancy of 5000 beds available at the moment. He urges the people in need to keep an open mind to opting for beds wherever possible and avoid crowding only 2-3 locations particularly. During the night curfew malls, spas, pools, gyms are to remain shut, movie halls run at 30% capacity. These were the important announcements including these strict restrictions among other things.
