Girl Asleep follows the story of Greta (Bethany Whitmore). Set in the 1970s, Greta's mother throws her a birthday party for her fifteenth birthday, inviting the whole school to attend, much to Greta's horror.
Though, Greta does have fun, that is until she's humiliated. Shortly afterwards, she comes across a strange creature in her room that sends her on an adventure, where she finds out more about herself. She struggles with letting go of her childhood, and with finding out who she is. For anyone that's been afraid to grow up or unsure of what comes next, Girl Asleep may be the movie for you.
