Here is one of our videos that displays how to use Joints Couplings core drilling machine, The Core N Tap, without a strap. For this technique we use a single jack, used for shoring, and a bottle jack to hold the Core N Tap securely against the pipe. Once the hole had been cored one of our patented 8" Tap N Tee sewer saddles was installed for a lateral connection. Using this technique requires minimal excavation as to only expose the top of the pipe. This keeps the existing pipes' bedding intact and undisturbed.
