Join along for my first ever ultramarathon run race. The Leadville trail 100. This is 100 miles in the highest elevation town in Colorado named Leadville. Before this I ran one marathon and after that was given the opportunity from Coros to run this iconic race. I knew I couldn’t turn down this opportunity considering it’s a very hard race to receive an invitation to. Ultimately it was the hardest physical feat of my life but we got the job done. The cutoff time was 30 hours and I finished it in 29 hours and 33 minutes. From start to finish I was racing those cut off times and wouldn’t have made it without my incredible team by my side. Shoutout to the crew Israel Palacio, Ka’imi Kuoha, Andrew Shelly, Brock Covington, Ty Morris, Anthony Diaz. Doing hard things with your friends brings you closer and this event really brought us together and turned the friendship into family.
