Brainstorming
Brainstorming is a way of generating creative solutions to a variety of problems. During a brainstorming session all members of the group should contribute ideas as quickly as possible. These ideas are then evaluated at the end of the session.
- Come up with as many ideas as possible
- Encourage all kinds of ideas -- both sensibly practical and wildly impractical
- Don't criticise or evaluate ideas
- Make sure everyone contributes
- Encourage participants to build on or combine ideas
- Appoint one member to record all the ideas
- Have fun!
