Dr. Rapaport discusses the obesity epidemic and how it has led to a large increase in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The Hall Family Center for Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital is making strides to stem the obesity cycle and to improve the lives of children who have diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

He holds the Emma Elizabeth Sullivan Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Chair at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
