The Kessler Park Revitalization Project in Bloomington was the focus of a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by the Department of Public Works – Special Districts on Aug. 11.
The project includes plans for upgrades to enhance recreational opportunities for youth sports, the addition of gates to foster a sense of safety, and improvement of the overall park experience for the community through other planned amenities, such as park Wi-Fi and a renovated snack bar.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors authorized this exciting new project, which is funded through the Bloomington Community Benefit/Improvement Reserve, the American Rescue Plan Act and Fifth Supervisorial District discretionary funds.
