It would be a sin to visit Venice without seeing the narrow streets and canals from the beautifully carved gondola. These wooden beauties are approximately 11m long and their left side is always a little bit longer than the right one to make it easier for gondolier to maneuver it.

There are approximately 400 gondolas in service in Venice and each of them is steered by a licensed gondolier who had to spend hours and hours with training before he received the license. That means that you have nothing to worry about, you are completely safe with these professionals so you can just sit down and enjoy the amazing view.
