I've had people ask me what the difference between the Ehrlich and the Hoffman reagents are and which should be used (for testing tryptamines, specifically LSD). I get asked this about a lot of reagents, but the short answer is, get the "standard" ones, which are made clear on the DanceSafe.org website. There are tons of random-ass reagents that are either unreliable or mostly useless because they're not practical to use in the application of presumptive drug testing (for detecting adulterants or misrepresented substances).
