A dramatic turn of events unfolded outside the Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre in Lucknow. Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was there to honor 'Loknayak' Jayaprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary, but police prevented his entry by locking the main gate and placing tin sheets as barriers. Undeterred, Akhilesh Yadav scaled the boundary wall to access the premises. The construction of the complex started during his tenure from 2012 to 2017. He continued his tradition of garlanding the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary. His followers also jumped the boundary.
