I was fortunate to go to the Letters Live Event, held at The Tabernacle, in London's Notting Hill, to hear some fantastic authors, actors & performers read some wonderful missives from time gone by. It truly was a brilliant evening.

This is Benedict Cumberbatch reading a letter from Alan Turing to Norman Routledge in 1952. Benedict reads this with the despair and misery which is etched in Alan's every word.

Sorry that the recording is slightly out of focus, I wasn't aware of that at the time I filmed it.
