A trip over to Dean Forest Railway now, for the first time in nearly two years, to see recently overhauled GWR Small Prairie no.5541 in action along the line, running to the Red 'Steam' Timetable. 5541 returned to service in April, following an overhaul after withdrawal in 2004. In this video, we follow her on a round trip along the line, from Norchard, down to Lydney Junction, back up to Norchard and up to Parkend, finally ending up back at Norchard. With shots at Norchard, Middle Forge Junction, Lydney Town (out and back), Middle Forge Junction again, Norchard (two locations), Parkend, Oakenwood No.3 Crossing, and finally on the last half mile into Norchard.
